You can take your family to Alcatraz and have fun on this small, rocky island. You can even catch a glimpse of the Golden Gate Bridge from the island. The Japanese Tea Garden, Palace of Fine Arts, Fisherman's Wharf, South of Market Street (SoMa), Mission District, etc. are some more interesting places to catch in San Francisco.
